Driver Requirements

  • A valid Washington State driver's license with acceptable five (5) year driving record
  • Must must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (Training and Testing provided by Island Transit)
  • Must be able to pass a DOT Physical and Drug Test
  • YOU DO NOT NEED A CDL to apply - we will pay and train you to drive any vehicle safely
  • The use of marijuana and illegal drugs is prohibited at any time while employed by Island Transit


Candidates will be invited to take a video aptitude test to qualify for an interview.
