> SIX-YEAR TRANSIT DEVELOPMENT PLAN (TDP)
We Want to Hear from You!
Island Transit is inviting community feedback on our Draft 2025–2030 Six-Year Transit Development Plan (TDP). This plan helps shape the future of transit in our area by identifying service needs, setting improvement priorities, and planning the resources needed for current and future transit services.
Your input also helps us apply for state funding and grants that support the services you rely on, like bus and rideshare options, alongside local sales tax.

Island Transit’s Transit Development Plan (TDP) and Annual Report identifies how the agency has and will meet local and state long‐range priorities for public transportation through capital improvements, operating changes, and other programs. The plan also addresses how to fund such programs. The TDP conforms to the State’s transportation system policy goals (RCW 47.04.280), and supports regional and local comprehensive planning and economic objectives within Island County.
