Paratransit Application Process

Applications must be completed in full or they may be returned for further information. Island Transit may require verification by a medical professional familiar with your condition.

The Americans with Disabilities Act allows 21 days after receipt of a completed application to process the request. This does not include the time it takes for your medical professional to respond to the request for information.

An appointment will be scheduled for an interview and functional assessment to determine if the applicant qualifies for paratransit service.
