COMMUNITY SURPLUS VEHICLE PROGRAM
Island Transit's Board of Directors approved the first Community Surplus Vehicle Program in 2002. Since that time Island Transit made many surplus transit buses and vans available to eligible 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations and agencies who serve the residents of Island County.
The 2024 program is now closed. Thank you to all the applicants who participated!
QUARTERLY REPORT INFORMATION FOR VEHICLE RECIPIENTS
Upon award, the vehicle recipient shall provide Island Transit with a quarterly report, for a one-year period, containing vehicle odometer readings, number of passengers carried, and description of current use of vehicle. Information shall be submitted to Island Transit, ATTN: Community Surplus Vehicle Program (CSVP), 19758 SR 20, Coupeville WA 98239 or emailed to heppner@islandtransit.org. Reporting periods are May -July 2024; Aug - Oct 2024; Nov - Jan 2025; Feb - April 2025.
